Should I?

the best advise i could give you is go out and actually test drive one. that will answer most of your questions. now personally, i'd trade in your g35 for the cr. while the g35 is both sporty and luxurious, i'd sacrifice luxury for what the s has got to offer you. good luck!

Thanks guys great advices I just spoke to the dealer they sold the CR I guess I have to get a regular S2k maybe if I can't find one, I was going to go to the dealer today and they told me some idiot sales rep sold it even tho I put a hold on it. I don't think a regular AP2 is bad and I can make it the way I want it instead of not touching the CR exterior wise . Thanks guys keep them coming I love how people actually explain what they mean.

If you were looking to change the suspension anyway, I don't think you are missing out too much by getting a base vs. CR.
A wing and hardtop can be added. ...and to your taste.
Though you would be missing out on the sweet yellow tweak'd interior.

CR > G35
But of course I'm biased.
A few things to consider:
If you'll be using this as a daily, you might hate the fact that it doesn't have a backseat. I didn't use mine much either but sometimes miss it.
To make any siginificant power over stock in an S2000, you need forced induction(turbo, supercharger, nitrous). If you want a car you can drive on track and have a blast, buy the CR and leave it stock for a bit. It's very capable in stock form.
I've bought a few mods for this car and put the stock stuff back on after a few months. This is not the type of car you just throw mods at. Honda built an amazing car right out of the box. Very fast with the right driver behind the wheel.

Me personally I love modding cars I bought the G35 in November and I have changed almost everything exterior wise and a few engine mods already lol just hate stock cars. But yes I think a base S2K would be much better for me instead of getting the CR because I'm going to change everything and there is no actual point for me to get the CR if I am going to waist all the Honda engineers work. So now I just have to find me a white S2000 with low miles and trade my car in. And first mod is going to be Enkei GTC01 Hyper Black I know people will hate me for this but I'm going with 18's F 18x8.5 +35 5x114.3 R 18x9.5 +38 5x114.3. Really like those wheels and maybe keep the stocks with some good tires for the track days. Is that offset too low??? I really like the hellaflush look lol (also I know some people will hate me for that) or would I need a different offset?
