Not really...

Fart cans/overly loud, useless exhausts are ricey.

"JDM" yellow fog lights are kinda rice.

Stupid Japanese symbol stickers on a car are rice.

You get the picture...

Who cares what what people do to their own cars? It's their time and money. Someone called me a ricer in my stock S2000. So I put a loud ass exhaust on my car. Now they call me a ricer for good reason. Do I care? No.

OP, here's your solution: Don't go meets. You won't see a line of 'riced out' cars anywhere else. If it really bothers you how some people modify their car, too bad. Everyone has a different idea of what they want their car to be. It's called style. Just because you don't like theirs doesn't mean it's wrong. I think these kids in the tuner scene with their cookie-cutter cars all look the same. Dropped on aftermarket wheels(they all pick between about 3 or 4 different styles) with a lip kit and an exhaust. Is it 'cool'? Not to me. But if everyone's car looked the same and was modified the same way, things would be quite boring.
