Wow......I don't think my car was anywhere Lancaster. Delivery point was San Francisco. Point of entry was San Diego. I bought from Honda World in Westminster, witch is also a costal location. Lancaster is far inland and away from the coast.

Glad to hear the tech was fired, sucks for whoever buys the car though, most likely they wont be aware of this. Unless this dealership is respectable and tells the future owner about this incident, which I doubt they will.

I just bought my 03 red S2000 from lancaster honda three days ago....i have been talking to them and visited for over a month but I never saw any 04 S2000 at all. They had a 03 yellow one that came in a month ago but they did dealer trade for red. either way, I would have to agree that techs at lancaster honda are idiot. After i signed paper, tech brought out the car with little tiny scratches all over the car. the manager promised to get the car detailed again and apply paint protection to get rid off scratch. I hope it does work...I demand to get another s2000 but they said there is no cooling off period

That's unfortunate that all he gets is a write up. It probably isn't too far fetched to think that his behavior extends to other areas of his work (test driving cars in for repair, PDI gas ups, etc).

His friend isn't too bright either.
