Shop did damage, need help!

+1 on the walk around after any service of any kind. In fact, take a set of before pics in their lot. Only takes a min.
They said they had to use the alignment lift because your car was too low. I bet they figured out it was too low by trying it on the regular lift first, and causing that damage. That is why they didn't give a hard time when you came back. They knew they did it, and were hoping you didn't notice until too much time passed to claim they did it.

They will take care of it. They will most likely send out an investigator to look at the damage and ask you to get some estimates. They usually will pick the mid to low estimates for the repair. This kind of Thing happens all the time so don't worry about it.

A honda dealer scratched all 4 rims on my S putting on new tires. Their tire guy did not set the arm right and all 4 rims got scratched on the lip (stock rims, which were perfect and no dings). They gave me the runaround for weeks and wanted to spray clear onto them. It took me filing a lawsuit on the dealer but it was resolved after that with 4 new honda rims. Don't settle for less than them making it right, even if you need to take legal action.

For free. I'm going to go to a reputable shop just incase anything happens. You could always tell the service writer before dropping off the car to add into the comments that there is no issues anywhere on the car so it is notated.

How long after it happened did you go back? I just bought a set of new volks 17x10 I could easily go to a buddy and install them

I'll bet that scar in your steering wheel was something like a cell phone clip in the pocket. I continually scarred my steering wheel getting in and out of the car when I had a cell phone with a clip mount in my front pocket. They way I twist when I get out causes it to scrape the steering wheel. This is with a recaro with the seat pretty far forward.

I once picked up a car from the dealership, did a walk around before leaving, and noticed a huge stream of yellow paint down the passenger side - the mechanic scraped a pylon and was just going to let me drive off.
