Default Shipping a hardtop

So I found a hardtop id love to buy thats in LA, unfortunately I live in Chicago. But I do have a friend thats moving from LA to Chicago next week. If I could get him to buy it for me what kind of options would I have for shipping it. Could he put it on a greyhound bus? What would be the best way to package it?

I would check with greyhound, if not there's always renting a Uhaul.

I shipped my soft top and frame from Raleigh to Louisiana for $125 using Fastenal. Receiver just needs to have a Fastenal store near them. I built a shipping crate myself using basic materials from lowes and a electric drill.

Greyhound would be ridiculously cheap if its not too big just get the dimensions and give them a call.
