Actually that is what I use. I apply my shin-etsu grease with a condom. Normal position!

Seriously, I put Shin-etsu on a cloth and rub a thin coat thoroughly into the rubber seals. I let it sit for a while, then remove any excess with a dry cloth. If you leave too much on the window seals around the door, you will have a greasy stripe around the edge of your windows. Really, this is not rocket science. An application of Shin-etsu will keep the rubber seals supple guaranteeing good performance into the future.
