shin-etsu grease
I got some shin-etsu grease for the seals. The manual says to apply it to the seal at the windsheild top and the window seals where they meet. I read in another post that it should be applied to the complete window seals. What do most of you do?
Also, the tube has warnings about getting it on your skin. Is this just a CYA warning, or is there something nasty in the grease?

I pretty much apply it to every rubber seal on the doors, windshield frame, top seals (I lower the roof halfway to get at all the edges of the seals), and trunk - once or twice a year. I think once will probably be sufficient but not sure. I just use my fingers and wash them thoroughly afterwards - no harm so far.
I shin-etsu'ed my S in the Spring, and I will do it again in mid-fall, right before the winter.

I lube all rubber parts with that stuff. Use sparingly or it gets everywhere. And I use rubber gloves because I picked up a nasty rash the last time I used bare hands.
