Default Shiftstyle boot installed

Just tried out a new shift boot from shiftstyle.com

They are each custom made to your order by material, material color, and thread color.
They also do advanced styles like two-tone and quad stitching.
They are pre-fit to the s2000 with pre-cut holes.

Check it out:
Black alcantara with red stitching. (darker in person)
Very nice soft suede-like feel.

I rate it a 5 out of 5. great craftsmanship, quality and price.

around 40 bucks shipped vs paying 50+ from other places.

That's cool and it actually looks pretty nice. I hate my shift boot because it hangs lower than I've seen on other manual tranny cars.

looks like it would wear easily and could possibly get dirty as hell.

Nah, I have charcoal alcantara shift & e-brake boots in my M3. They look brand new after 4+ years. Only cleanup required is a light vacuum.

I guess it depends on the material you get.
I tried out both this alcantara one and a carbon fiber vinyl one.

I decided to stick with the carbon one because it matched my interior better (and i dont have the $$ to do a full alcantara switch, haha).

anyone know if the blue carbon fiber boot would match up well with a suzuka interior?
