Thumbs up Shifter adjustment

Hi everyone, I just had my OEM clutch replaced with a stage 3 clutchmasters and my shifter has a lot of play in it. It isn't just right to left, but front to back also. The mechanic said that 'there is one way to put the shifter in and out and we did it correct', however I disagree.

Can anyone give me advice on how to tighten my shifter? [I don't know a lot about clutches/shifters on S2s yet]

Thanks everyone!

Sounds like they either damaged or didn't hook up the stick centering springs.

Well, how do I fix that? How do I tell them to fix it?

Does the stick return to the center position when in neutral? If it doesn't snap back, I would assume they didn't hook up the stick centering springs as xviper suggested. Other than that, someone is probably damaged, because there is only one way to put everything back unless they got creative.

There's a plastic bushing at the bottom of the shifter, might that be the problem?

I noticed it was damaged, so I ordered a new one @ honda.
