In the city accelerating normally, 3500-4500

If I feel like accelerating faster, 5000-6000

If I wanna "GO", 9000+

When I am just cruising I shift between 3.5-4.0.

been shifting by ear since I've learned to drive stick waay back in the day. Basically the only way you'd really harm it is if you shift too early and the gear isn't strong enough to pull the car forward. (like starting in 2nd or 3rd gear for instance). On normal days I'll shift at about 3k-5krpms per gear. With the occasional redline at 2nd or 3rd gear.
