That's as low as it will go. I can raise the height of the knob almost an inch. There is no buzzing noise at all. With the stock knob it was quieter than the Spoon Ti but stilled buzzed in vtec. With the TWM knob in vtec it's quite as stock.

Driving to a few meets I would put the stock knob on and then switch to the Spoon Ti just for show. The Ti knob would drive me crazy with the top up.
It seems to me that we are collecting a body of evidance here that is pointing to extra mass as the cure to the RPSS. Richard could probably add some mass to the shifter itself, if that will actually kill the buzz. Before I contact him and suggest this I'd like to hear from a few more people.

Has ANYONE had the RPSS buzz while using a heavy shift knob?

I would defintely go with a weighted shift knob by TWM performance. I have one and it's great, I get one for all my friends for thier birthdays, they all love it.

Although I wouldnt go with the chrome finish, but I do like he black bolts.

Thanks!

It's flat black.

I would think this would look great with an 06 console with the black center section.

I have the Spoon titanium and love it to death. when i got my car it had the voodoo on it, and it was off right away, i couldnt get my little paws around it. i really like the look of that T1R B-Max II though, as too the skunk 2, that thing weighs so much!

I have the new version Mugen knob and I like the bulkier/heavier feel to it.

I have the TWM Type R one. I really like it cuz it has a similar shape to the OEM knob but weighs in at 440g.
