I just had TSB 54 done this week. So far the change is amazing! The car is 100 times quiter.

I don't know how long the clutch "fix" will last, but the noise before was getting unbearable.

Exactly! It lasted for about a month in my case but still the new one isn't as bad as the old. TSB55 did work for me so far. No grinds at all since it was done and the shifting is much smoother into 2nd. Each is different I guess.
