Sellin with hardtop or separately?
Looking to sell my car and looking for opinions on what to do with the hardtop?
Can you sell the hardtop for more separately than you could add to the car asking price?
Id like 2k for the hardtop + hardware and it seems like I could get that selling it separately or could i just add 2k to the car price or is that unreasonable?
I am in no hurry to sell so I will take my time but just wanted some advice.
Also I live in the northwest where it rains for 9 months of the year so the hardtop is a nice addition to have up here.
any advice or observations of past sales would be greatly appreciated.

if i were you...this is what i would do. put your car and the hardtop up for sale seperately, but in the for sale thread of the car, say you can include a hardtop for an extra 2k, so if the hardtop sells with the car or by itself youll still get the same amount

I would keep the hardtop on it, and ask for the $2k extra on top of what you would sell the car for without it. Someone will probably buy it since OEM hardtops are hard to come by now already on an s2000. If someone doesnt want the hardtop, then just take it off and sell it. Selling it on the car will save you the time and effort taking it off, then selling it.

In the time that I've been on here I have seen that no one ever gets there moneys worth selling the top with the car.
My advice is sell them seperately, to get the most $$ you can.
