At your age and the type of car you're driving, it sounds right to me. There are so many factors and variables that affects your insurance that its pointless having someone your age saying i'm paying less than you. Its not really relative

I got quotes from many insurance companies for home and cars insurance policies, Mercury had the lowest premiums for both policies. My wife daily driver is '00 E430 and her premium is around $260 for 6 months. I had multi-car and multiple policies discounts.

Shop around, you will find lower cost insurance with reputable company.

I just got double nickels birthday 2 weeks ago and had driver license more than 35 years ago with no tickets and no at fault accidents.

try MetLife auto insurance. I work for MetLife (tech support) in CA and choose them over the local 21st Century insurance because it was $400 a year cheaper for me. I believe they are nationwide or at least where you are at as they are based in Rhode Island.

the accident is what is killing you. when I was 23 (10 years ago) my insurance was $2700 per year on a 94 trans am convertible.

btw have you tried to get a multicar discount w/ your parents' policy? when I was your age I had a different policy with my parents but because I was in the same household I got a multicar discount.

$300 a month ? That is more than I paid for 6 months with full covearge and maximum liabilities ($250k/$500k/$100k) and $250 Deductable for Comp, $500 for Coll.
My 6 months premium for '04 S2000 is $292, to be exact, with Mercury Ins. Co.
TR-S2K where are you from??
By the way, $292 for six months?? WOW

You mean where I live to get that insurance rate ?
My address is: Beckwith Terrace, Irvine CA 92603-3503
Location where you park your car(s) overnight is the biggest factor in your car insurance rate, second only to age.
