My 6 months premium for '04 S2000 is $292, to be exact, with Mercury Ins. Co.

I would check out other insurance companies, because 300+ a month is rather high. I had 2 convertible mustang gt's when i was 20 and mine wasn't even that high. I would suggest that you head over and grab a quote from the online guys to see what range you should be paying for car insurance. Then take those quotes to local places to see what they can do.
Good Luck with it and once you get those insurance payments down you will have plenty of money to play with.

well i even went to state farm and progressive and they were both higher than what im paying now i think progressive said it would be like 340 and state farm was like you should go with progressive or someone else because it would be really high with us
so this is the best im paying right now....
anyways enought with insurance get back to what i posted about
insurance will always go up and down right now it is the biggest thing right now deciding if i should sell or not, im just torn on what to do right now

You definately shouldn't be stressing about a car. If the financial burdens are getting to you, sell it. You can always pick another one up later. I hate feeling helpless when on a tight budget.
