Seibon Fender Fitment

Seibon Fender Fitment
Hey guys,
So I recently dropped off my car at a family friend's auto shop to get my seibon fenders installed. Like everyone knows, these fenders have a tendency to not sit flush with the front bumper which is pretty annoying. The shop recommended that they do some kind of a bolt connecting the bumper and the fender where they meet (the oem bumper + fender actually have a specific part that connects the two together; since i'm installing an amuse replica bumper and seibon fender this design cannot be adapted).
THE PROBLEM: once they do this customization I'll have a pretty difficult time removing and reattaching my front bumper that may pose for extreme annoyance and difficulty for future mods or fixes (bulbs, etc.)
I was just wondering what everyone else on the forums had to do to get their seibon fenders to fit well with the front bumper. A fast response would be GREATLY APPRECIATED, since they're probably going to start heavy work on it tomorrow, monday. Thank you for your time and support

Pretty much got to do whatever works. My guy heated them and re-shaped 'em for like 3 days he still ended up putting a self tapping screw where your talking about. It does make getting the bumper off harder but once eveythings good to go you shouldn't have to be pulling the bumper. Getting the bulbs out isn't an issue I just pull the inner fender. I have and ASM front bumper.

Yeah, I wasn't too pleased w/the fitment. Like a lot of folks are saying sometimes they fit like OEM and sometimes it's a b*tch. The hood was a pretty good fit out of the box though. In the end I really like the fenders but it did take a little work to get them 'right'.
Your welcome and good luck, I think you'll be happy w/the end product. I think the people who put them on themselves w/out using a shop would have a tougher time if there are fitment issues. Most shops just look at it as a little more work, a good shop will have experience w/aftermarket products and won't be too concerned about fitment.
