Should we have the pleasure to meet up in May, I'll tell you ALL about it. OR, I'm sure Ben will.

I think this all revolves around the asshole and opinions remark. Opinions and Compliments are two totally different things. Posting a picture of your ride and asking everyone their opinion is not going to guarantee a compliment. Opinions ask for compliments or criticism. If you can't handle criticism don't ask for opinions, ask everyone to compliment your car so you can sleep well tonight.

That being said, I agree with WRS2K on much of his opinions. I respect him even more for not sugar coating what he says. Yes at times he can be an ass, thats my opinion and I can bet he can handle the criticism. But by being an ass he gets the point across and keeps this site going strong.

Back to the topic at hand, strakes look great on Berlina, but on other colors that rubber picece is an eye soar.

Happy Holidays

I'm going to try and paint that rubber. Need to take a closer look at them later. (Still in the box)

Highrpmek, I'm with you about your "opinion". If a person can't "handle the truth", they shouldn't be posting such a request. After all, he did NOT post, "Please tell me that side strakes are just WONDERFUL!"

WR has already indicated there are a lot of things on my car that is crap in his eyes. I STILL look forward to meeting him. He's not just coming to see my car. He's coming to see me. He may have to shield his eyes when I pull up but I can live with that.

xviper, please keep us updated on your findings for possibly painting the rubber piece. BTW, after closer inspection on the pictures of the yellow S with all the OEM trimings, all three pieces compliment each other well. I dont think having just two of the three pieces make the car look complete. Then again I am a sucker for the GP Sports body kit and the various aftermarket lips available such as the Amuse and J's. Strakes are quickly growing on me.

I plan to do a "How To" on the side strake install. I'll include any findings I may get on the painting of the black rubber bits.
(Gotta wait till I'm out of the crappy winter blues.)
