Hmm.

I wouldn't take them off, had my car come with them.

However I wouldn't pay money to have them added.

I guess that means that I don't particularly love them, but I can live with them.

Well, I bought the S2000 because it was a screaming bargain for what you're getting. It doesn't make sense to me to do that, then turn around and start paying huge markups for largely non-functional accessories.

If I wanted to pay an auto company lots of money for OEM painted plastic accessories at 700% markups, I'd have gotten a Boxster. For a few hundred dollars Porsche will color-coordinate the painting of the dash lettering with the color of your interior seats. I guess that's cool in the same way that side strakes are cool.

All three OEM bits can be had for $1K new. That's a freakin' bargain for perfect fit, painted parts so no complaints from me.

And I would've gotten a Boxster S and modded it up nicely if it was within my budget back in the days.

I bought the S2000 because it's not a Miata, it's not a Boxster, it's an F1 emulating lil' roadster that revs sky high at a not so sky high pricepoint.

Even in today's saturated $30K sports car market, I'd still take it over the other newcomers and enjoy the drive.

I just don't like that black on the bottom, they just look tacked on to me. Other than those, all the other Honda accessories look part of the car and made to fit.

You guys are dancing on WRS2Ks grave already?

It would be more civil without him but it would certainly less fun!

I don't like sidestrakes personally... but I wouldn't post this, either.
