Default Seeking Your Opinion On Side Strakes

I'd like to know what you guys think about side strakes. Do you think they make the car look better and does anyone know how much they cost. Thanks, -Ken

Dumbest accessory Honda ever offered. Save your money or, if it is burning a hole in your pocket, spend it on anything else.

Also, if you don't like the side strakes and want to go back to "stock," you're left with screw holes in the body.

If side strakes are so damned important, how come Honda put none on the no-holds-barred SSM concept car?

I have the side strakes and like them very much, thank you. However, a few here have complained that they have fallen off of thier cars. Mine are on and I have had no problems. In my opinion, they make the car look more aggressive without going over board.
As far as the proto-type SSm, take a good look at where the side strakes would go and you see that it wouldn't need them because the body is already formed in a way that it wouldn't require them.

Of all the OEM optional accessories, thats the only one not worth a dime in my opinion. They look out of place and interrupt the lines of the car. Better off going with Comptech side skirts, something subtle. I heard veilside has a new nice set of side skirts as well.

Anyone got any pics of aftermarket strakes that they might have bought and installed?
