I dont understand why all these stupid ass rice boys steal our seats. Its not even like they are that great of seats. They hold you in place and all but jeez, they are nothing special. Not even really that comfortable either.

Damn man, that really blows. South Florida S2000s have been hit hard in the past year or so. Keep an eye out on ebay & any of the other sites that these punks may use to sell the seats. Get the seat locks, get the stickers, get the alarm, and most importantly, get a garage!

The shock sensor I use is the DEI 504M (~$20) and the proximity sensor is also by DEI and part # is 508D (~$30-$40 on ebay). The install is easy and the sensors work great.
Does this work with the stock alarm/keyless entry system?

honda should really embroider a 's2000' on the seat so it would look stupid on any other car.

paivag, WLaurent's alarm mod gives you both and you continue to use your S2000 stock remote fobs.

So now I will order some seat locks.. My only concern is that once they realize that the seats can't be removed, they will just slash them.
Then you're no worse off than if they had been able to steal the seats. Except that:

A) You have the satisfaction of knowing that the bastard didn't get them.

B) You still have something to sit on while you're waiting for replacement seats. You're lucky it happened while you were at home instead of 3 hours from home.

Has anyone successfully connected the DEI shock sensor to the OEM alarm?

I was considering hacking it into the hood swich input somehow. My plan is to try and figure it out next weekend when I get around to installing the alarm.

My top got slashed too, but the seats were untouched.
