Default Seats settling in?

I just got my 2007 last week and loving it since. But I notice that whenever I have a passenger in the car, their seat squeaks. The noise is not constant, but is there a good amount of time. The sound seems like it is coming from the backrest part of the seat.

I don

move the seat 1 inch forward.... it's the back of the seat hitting the car... unless it's another noise.

Yeah, are you sure it's not that? Mine does that too since I sit kinda far back. If it's in the rails/sliders, then some silicone spray should do the trick.

10 to 1 its the plastic seat back rubbing the plastic roll hoop cover - moving the seat or seat back up a bit will fix that.

ps, if there's a rattle without a passenger, its usually the seat belt hitting the plastic or frame - you can puill the seat belt part up to the top of the seat and it will keep it from rattling.

I have had my passenger seat moved up for my wife until last night when my friend rode in the car. My friend moved the seat back and it was making so much noise that I have never heard before.

My car did this too!!!!!!!!!
I thought I was just hearing things, and i have an 06. I kept asking my gf what the heck is that noise on her end, couldn't find it but I was suspecting the seatbelt plastic section.

The other seat noise is the seatbelt rubbing against the leather right next to the shoulder seatbelt guide, I had to add some felt to my seat it drove me so crazy.

The seat rails also squeak on the passenger seat of my 07. Guess I'll try some spray and see if it helps.

My passenger seat rails squeaked since day one; but the car drives so good the noise never really bothered me. There's 17k miles on the car now, and it hasn't happened for a while.
