I often wonder why people bitch about stuff like this. You worry about the beeping sound because you don't wear your seatbelt and then worry if it will affect the rest of the SRS system. Just unplug it and when you crash, let us know if the airbags went off or not, if you're still alive.
I wondered if it would affect the SRS system, I didn't worry about it

Sadly someone not wearing their seatbelt in a car we own can affect us through insurance rates, but none of us are going to change his mind on whether or not he wears it.
