Default Seat Height Kit?

Morning All,

Just join the forum. I am in the market for a 2006 or newer S2000. Does anyone know if there is a kit that can raise the seat height up a few inches? The Boxster and Z4M Roadster have this feature but not the S2000.

Boxster is out due to engine reliability and the Z4M is just too ugly but I do love the S54 engine.

Thank you

Ive only seen lowering kits. How tall are you? Try adjusting the seat foward and more upright to get better visibility.

Have you been in an S? Most people complain about sitting too high. An aftermarket bottom mount seat could raise the seating position up a bit. There aren't any options available that raise the factory seat though.

Yes, I drove my brother's 05 S for a couple of hours. I just like to be higher, that's all. If there isn't any, I am ok with it.

phonebook ftw

I'm 6'1 and actually have my seat pretty straight up and down and a few inches forward.

I definitely understand the OP's concern. I'm 4'10" and rely on a cushion to put myself at a more comfortable driving height. If all else fails, phonebook ftw for sure.

I use to sit a on cushion because of my back, but in retrospect, spacers with longer bolts would've been better. I do not like how on the S2000, the back of the seat bottom declines too much. I put a lot stress on my lower back. Just raising the back to bolts with spacers would've fixed it.

Make sure the bolts are good and spacers are correct diameter. The last thing you want to do is snap a bolt in an accident or just hard use.
