Just test drove a my06 and the seat height seemed higher than my old my99. I saw somebody write that there was changes. Can somebody fill me in? What year did the seat become so high it's like Driving a bus?

 

I don't think there was a height change. Your 99 was probably "broken in" or someone had done the factory seat lowering mod.

 

i put in a carbon fiber racing seat into my 2000 and i sit on the ground. put the stock seat in the other day and i swear i was sitting 5in higher! talk about driving a bus. i think all the s2000 seat height is too high

 

I put 06 seats in my 02 and noticed the same difference. I think there is more cushioning in the 06+ seats causing you to sit a little higher. Or like they said, ours could have been more broken in. lol

 

Broken in. Ok. I won't worry to much then. Defo noticed a difference though.
