Screwed up
Ok,
I posted a thread the other day regarding my leaking headlight....Well I successfully screwed my headlight up--too much silicone sealant when trying to put the housing back together--not to mention the plastic is damaged in the corners of the headlight. So, I have given up and plan on ordering another headlight.
First, anyone recommend where I can order one from? I know the dealer, but anyone know of anywhere else I can get one?
Second, I plan on leaving my car dissassembled until I get the new headlight so I can put it in then. Anyone with any experience putting in a brand new headlight know if the headlight is a complete unit with the hid unit as part or do I need to take the old lamp somewhere and have them transfer the old ballast to the new one?
So here's the bottom line--What does the new headlight from honda come with?

PM Hardtopguy, and tell him which headlight you need. He'll give you a good price, and probably fast delivery.
You may have to transfer some parts from one to the other, but it's not difficult.
If you haven't bought a repair manual, get one now, it will save you many future headaches.

I'll do that--I'm going to look in my area too for junkyards that might have a good headlight for cheap.
