Sorry to hear about your luck.

I've been an ebay member for over two years now, and think it is a great place to buy and sell. As a seller I have sold enough items to pay cash for my s2000 that I also bought on ebay 2 weeks ago.

I have to stress the point that as a buyer you need to do your homework. READ THE FEEDBACK! If you see negative feedback or little or no feedback be careful. I almost never buy from a seller that has any negative feedback.

Ebay does protect the buyer, but you will need to go to my ebay buyers page and follow the instructions on how to report a seller that has not honored the transaction. Loyds of London carries the insurance for ebay and as long as you follow ebay's instructions you are protected. It might take 4-6 weeks to get your $$ back, but you will get most, not all, of it back.

If you used paypal you are protected as well, if not you will have to use the ebay insurance.

Yeah, up to $200. And there is a $50 deductible. That sucks in my book, especially when the amount is $900.

I have always had luck with Ebay, it has helped me sell stuff I NEVER thought I could sell such as a big bore throttle body for a 1987 CRX-si. Feedback is the Key, I have spent alot of time establishing my credit and most other people have done the same. Make sure to post feedback on him explaining what happened, so future buyers don't have to go throught what you are.
