It's a bug in internet explorer (it hides the actual address in the address bar [more here:http://www.derkeiler.com/Mailing-Lists/NT-...03-12/0027.html]
After entering the username and pass it brings you to (what you think is)

http://session.ebaymotors.com@ebayupdates.biz/session.php>
So in this URL, session.ebaymotors.com is the user, ebayupdates.biz is the host (web server). You are logging into the server 'ebayupdates.biz' with a username of 'session.ebaymotors.com'. The site 'ebayupdates.biz' is presumably owned by the scammer. I didn't see the original ebay page - but I'm guessing that anyone who submitted any data would have submitted it to the scammer at 'ebayupdates.biz'.
It is a common scam - because most people look only at the beginning of the URL, not the whole thing, they see the user@ part of the URL and think that it is the host (web site), when really it is bogus. The real web site is to the right of the @ sign.
What is interesting to me is that the scam site 'ebayupdates.biz' appears to be hosted at yahoo.
