Saw a s2000 in the foot of snow yesterday
So im in my 99 explorer (every day car) and we have about 10 inches of snow on the ground and they didnt even start plowing yet becuase it was hitting at 3 inches an hour. I have my 4x4 on plowing through all the powder and what do I see? Some idiot in a 04 S stuck on the side of the road on a hill going no ware but back into a ditch. Wheels spinning and everything. I had a rope in my truck becuase I was going to my friends to pull everyone around and I ended up Pulling this guy out of the ditch back on to the road. He could not understand why he car was so bad in the snow. The S02 tires didnt help im sure. I said "this is why mine is under the cover for a while, good luck getting home!!!"

I have been known to drive through more than 10" of snow and I live on a hill. But then, I have snow tires.
Having no snow tires in an S2000 in the snow doesn't make an owner an "idiot". It just makes him/her uneducated, uninitiated, uninformed, catch off guard, somewhat not clued in or perhaps even "wishfully thinking", but "idiot" is a bit harsh. Around this time of year, by your definition, there are a lot of "idiots" in S2000s, huh?

Maybe they were not S02's but I could tell it was a high performance tire and I wasnt making a joke when i said there was 10 inches of snow on the road and snowing HARD, and if you think your going to go anywhere even with snow tires, your both nuts because the bottom of your bumper will be about 5 inches under snow. The s2000 does not like snow. I still think that anyone who would drive an S2000 in what the news and weather service called "blizzard like conditions" is not all there upstairs. If it is your only car, then sit back and watch TV.

XViper and I must totally be out of our goard. He and I have been driving our modified S2000's through over 3 winters.
More credit goes to him however, he gets Canadian winters whereas I get wimpy Chicago winters.
