Mine or the CR? lol

I picked up 2 stock OEM wheels for the driver side last week for my car.

Frame work should begin next week.

That's whats up!! It's a shame when some of these damaged cars are able to get put back on the road but are picked apart instead.

The CR has original tires which are probably as hard as black top by now. But original is "collectible."

Looking forward to the next installment on your restoration!

For the amount of money used parts are going for its more lucrative for junk yards/scrappers/etc. to part it out. Some people are asking $5-6k for just the engine/transmission. That's double of what I paid for mine

Money talks. With no source for many new parts -- engines and gearboxes are prime examples -- the value of those parts will climb. And there is a poor percentage of successful engine rebuilds (or so it seems recently).

Nice work!

What's the plan for the rear quarter panel damage? It's a big job to cut/weld and replace those puppies

My frame guy; instead of texting me to tell me he is starting to work on the car, he texted me telling me "it's done" ... so no footage of the frame work unfortunately..

But I got the car from the frame shop, had to put a new lower control arm on the front and my front hub might be bent as well since my buddy said wheel looked wobbly.

Will be dropping off at the body shop today and that will basically be the next video I'll release maybe the end of the week!

Thanks for following along Chuck!! Got a cool video I'll be putting out soon of a new project as well.

Right, I actually work at a junk yard now and I plan on getting a few in here that are pretty far gone to part out.. if they are better than expected then I'll save them.

Thanks man! The dings/dents are not major enough for new quarter panel.

Body guy will pull dents out as much as possible so he can use minimal filler to finish it off.

That low milage CR for sale has tape or paint around the windshield. I thought CRs would be the same as other 2008-2009 vehicles that do not have tape installed and are the color of the car.
