Today, I visited my honda dealer (to buy a neat honda t-shirt and pen), and a salesperson said that there was just one or two more years of production of the s2000. Also, he said people just bought them to collect them because they will then be a collectible. I was more than a little perturbed by this person. It seemed like I was getting sales pressure, you can never just look. He also bs'd me about how many they received, like 1 every 60 days. But, they had three new 04's in the showroom. And, my service advisor said he had like 50 customers himself. So, I think that this salesperson was really giving me the business. Question: Does anybody know if production will stop any time in the next 1 or 2 years? (I have a 2003 white/tan)

He wants to make you feel comfortable w/a huge mark-up centralized around the exclusivity of the vehicle. Chyeah..

 

salesmen are full of BS. i woulnt belive him. they may stop the S2000 but then come out with the s2200

 

i agree, salesman will do anything for a sale. he was probably expecting you to run back, tell people. and then get a bunch of buyers in there for him tryign to buy a "collector" car

 

My dealer said they would stop the run in another year.........4 years ago. Thats total BS.

 

S2200 is already out if you think about it

 

I'm hoping for the S3200 in 2006, the one using the 3.2 liter V6.
