Sad Day!!! Can't Lower My S :(
#1
I spent the better part of the day calculating and looking at all of the available set-ups to lower my car. After the work was done I went out to figure out if the drop will be okay to get in the driveway at my house.
I guess I should have done things the other way around! The following pics were taken with OEM tires and suspension. Obviously, I need more clearance than I had anticipated:

This is as much of an angle as I can get. Today the most clearance I could get, using the angle technique was less than .75"
I could use some adjustable spring perches, and just lower about .5" but it will still be difficult not to scrape it. I'd really like to drop it 1".
It's really hard for me to think about moving. I've got a pretty nice place, and the rent is only $280/mo! How do you think I can afford my mods!!
This SUCKS!!!

Pete, if you remember, i pulled into your parking spot with only minor scraping. Really minor. 2 thing, my car is lowered a lot on stock tires and they were extremely bald
Remember, as long as you go slow and approach at an angle, you are good to go. Even if the bottom gets scratched you can never see it anyhow. The oem lip is pretty damn well built.
