S4 spanks S2000
#11
Besides a nightclub/restaurant owner I have been in the used car business for 6 years. Recently I purchased a wacked S4 with 2300 miles on her. Rear 1/4, pilar, axle, wheel, door.......etc. After she was straight I drove her for about 2000 miles. What an amazing car. I am sure with some suspension mods the nose wouldnt push as much in the corners. The front end is quit heavy as compared to the back. As far as a drag it would be so close that I would have to say it was up to the drivers driving them. The torque is abundant in this vehicle. The shifting is long though. With our 9k redline we have a lot less room to mess up in those streetlight wars.
I am going to avoid any other comparison. Small 4 door with a twin blown v6 vs. 2 door roadster with a motorcycle like redline. Man thats a tuff one.......
The only other known is the amount of $ it would take to make the S4 a 400hp monster is less than a supercharger for our car......
I love the S4, love the stook more. Just feels right. And for 32,700. Could it really get much better?
Oh and I also had a pimped out 99 GS 400........swift racing intake and ecu, and dragon racing torque converter. Thats one dangerous fully automatic weapon.
Peace

You should have won that race. No offense, but you should get out in an open empty road somewhere and learn how to race that car. Not like I'm a pro or anything, but I can run constant 5.5's and sometimes less, so I kindof have a good idea of how to race that car. I know someones' going to say "it's not made for drag racing", but it is still pretty impressive on a straight line. Plus how often does everyone get the chance to take their car to a track? We trackless have to use our cars somehow.

So if faced with a race situation, either do an off idle launch or a full 6-7k takeoff please. None of this half way stuff.

70-0 ft: 157
G: 0.90
EPA: 23 mpg
Audi S4 Stats:

We know that the S2000 stats should be better that what C&D is showing.
Stats are very close. Would depend more on the driver as to which should win.
