S2K Won't Start
Well basically my s2k has been in the garage for about 6-7 months now, the other day, I went to try and start it, it doesnt' start. I figured it must've been the battery or something since it hasn't been started for a lil while. So I go to try and get the battery recharged, they say the battery is dead and cannot be recharged.
So at this point I thought it was for sure the battery keeping my car from starting, I got o autozone to pick up a battery. Return home and install it, the car still doesn't start.
Only this time, its a little different because when I push the start button, all the electronics in the car i guess shuts down for a second or 2 and turns back on, the car doesn't make any sorta turn over noise at all.
Could this possibly be my starter? Or altenator? I did have a system high output system in the car, but I only used it a few times and it was never used to the max or anything.
I'll probably be taking it to honda within a few days.
Thanks for your help.

Check the grounds for the starter and battery. Offhand, I'm not sure where all the grounds are on the car, but check that they are there and in good condition.

All of your electronics should shut down for a second while you are cranking the car. It sounds like you have a starter that is going out. Like everyone else says, just check your connections. JMO

Yeah I'm sure my connections are good. I don't know what else is wrong with it....Guess it'll have to get towed to honda.
The car was fine before. I don't know why the battery would all of a sudden die. And upon installing a new one it doesn't wanna start....
Any other suggestions before I tow it?

Definetely try checking your connections. As someone else mentioned, make sure the postive cable is connected securely to the battery. The 2 second pause with no turnover that you described, sounds like a bad connection. I doubt that the starter on a vehicle that new is bad. Good luck.

It sure sounds like a dead battery. Are you sure the new battery is good? Can you try it in another car? Are you seeing the "green key" light flashing in the dash display? If so, you might have immobilizer problems. Try your spare key.
