And yes, you are lucky to be sitting at your computer and being able to type "hehe". "Dangerous" is perhaps only one word that be used here.

from any sort of launch or stop....the STi will hand you your ass.
however on the freeway...no...I have friends with STi's and well I raced one of them just to see how I'd do...surprisingly to me, I had similar results...except if you kept trying after 4th, after 120...he starts to pull away...I raced from 60~120...the STi would pull, on me but barely until 120.
Also doing AutoX's (not with my friend), but I have consistantly pulled better times than STi's...road racing results are hopefully soon to come.
Contrary to popular belief...the S2k is NOT slow

i spanked a stock sti on the freeway
my brother owns a sti and all i can say if from a dead stop the s will see tail lights right away. From a roll it's another story. The sti loses a lot with the awd from a 70-80 roll. Remember our cars strongest point is on the freeway.
jae keep it safe man.

but it couldve been so many variables.....how hard was he trying? what did he have for mods? was he a good driver?
That's gotta be the only downfall to driving a Ferrari, everyone is always gonna try to play with you, and you know if you don't theres going to be a thousand threads like "My Ford Taurus SHO smoked a Maranello tonight!"
That being said, he might have been giving her all he's got. We'll never know.

the sti will rape an s2ki on a road course...just pure rape. stock for stock at my local track(1:30 course) i was able to muscle about 4-5 seconds faster per lap in the sti. keep in mind ive had my s2k for 2 years and had a wrx for two years also.
as for the highway stories, i find it hard to believe considering top speeds road racing...my 2 pennies? you guys were racing riced out wrxs

I've raced STI with my S2K. We started from stop but actually S2K keeps up with it pretty good.
Can't beat it though. STI is fast but probably its not fast as most people think. Its not like
monster (STI) vs some sportcar (S2K). More like monster vs monster. But STI is bit faster.

straight up stock v stock I expect the STi to work over the s2k in most drag straight line applications.. I am more interested in the Touge and track. I would think the s2k would pull some competitive times if not edge out some wins.
