Default S2k vs STI

I just recently raced an STI on the freeway. We were going from 80 on up.
I thought the STI would of smoked me but it didn't get away from me.
The STI was mildly fixed up too.
I figure it was a bad driver? I was redlining all the way to 6th. Got up to 125 and he didnt' get away from me.
By the way racing is dangerous. hehe

From a stop if he gets a good launch, he'll beat you. From a roll, it's a drivers race with advantage to you.

The stock turbo on the STi wheezes out really bad up top. It's way to small for the 2.5L of displacement. With a bigger bolt on turbo, you'll be staring at tail lights.

theres too many variables here to consider... especially the driver.. setup( mildly fixed up??)

putting that aside... just with numbers...

stock STi on a dynojet dyno chums out 240+ hp/tq at the wheel on 91 oct
with a catless turboback and a ECU reflash... easily 300 whp plus 310++ tq ...

now compare those numbers with your setup.. what do you think...

but shivers is right on the stock turbo.. its high end power is not as capable.. with a bigger turbo like a GT30R ... all you'll see is the massive wing flying away...
