S2K vs MR2
#22
Don't be scuured junior. They're rare to YOU because you've probably never been out passed 12:00 in ontario and has only got maybe, 2 races under your belt. I say this only because I figured it out from your comment that J-SPEC MR2's are rare. The WHOLE J-SPEC MR2 car is rare, with the tuned suspension and round tailights, etc but NOT the motor. And again to touch on your inexperience, smogging a JDM motor here in the U.S. is as easy as sliding an extra fifty bucks to the right mechanic preferably a fellow tuner. 3RD generation 3SGTE's (J-SPEC MR2 Turbo motor) are sold here in the U.S. everyday with lots of them in San Diego. And are swapped into the U.S. spec MR2's everyday as well. So to fallback on the smog thing is totally dodging it. And to this comment "I'm talking about stocks here", yea I am too. Stock to stock. If I swapped the J-SPEC motor in my MR2, it would still be stock, no mods to the motor. It's still an MR2 cuz that how they were made. Oh yea I think I've seen you too, I wanted to run you again, but your mom was in the passenger seat telling you not to.

ooooh look what I got here. If you noticed, I said STOCKS (referring to a stock American spec) Sure, Ontario is a hotbed for racing here in SoCal, and you'll find plenty of tricked out motors and other customizations...most of which is ILLEGAL...hence p.d. always has a picknick trying to surpass their monthly quota. Somehow I knew you were going to have an enraged rebuttal, but it's allright. I'd be mad too if I was also an MR2 owner.
p.s. It was my mom driving the car. I was in the passenger seat. Don't be infuriated that you got smoked by an old lady.

Not enraged, but factual response. It may sound enraged because I'm laying down the truth to your ignorance to the scene. Just sad that it had to be your mom and not you. Moms has more balls than you do. Sad.

Scene? What a way to change the subject...Don't think I haven't had my fair share of what you call a "scene". No way is my S2K worth being IMPOUNDED forever. It's not chickening out,I'm being legit. If you want to throw the gloves down, then do it. My momma raised no fool, but she did race a fool like you. So, why dont we quit the bickering and settle this?

Cameron & Lark Ellen. We'll run a few times around that area. Then jump on the 210 to Chantry Flats. Hopefully reconstruction hasn't started. We'll take this to all aspects.
This Thursday 1130. Meet you at the carpool parking lot. You should know where I'm talking about.

I know exactly what you are talking about.
CHANTRY FLATS: Mountainous 2 WAY road 8 feet wide with 20 turns. 12 inch rock wall guarding road from 100+ft cliff. Sand traps.
And you said "momma didn't raise no fool". I guess the risk of destroying your car and letting yourself run the risk of not only crashing into oncoming traffic, but also running off the side of the cliff and falling over 100ft to the ground, makes you no fool. I'll tell you this, it does. Hypocrite. I'd rather have my car impounded than me crashing into that 12 inch rock wall and falling end over the cliff. You've been watching a little too much of Initial-D. I doubt that you are Takumi. I've ridden in the car with you. Yea that's right, we know each other. Learn how to shift properly first and then talk. WatchYoSix shift procedure: Gas. . .off gas, clutch, shift, ease out clutch all the way. . .5 seconds later. . .gas. And your comment "Don't think I haven't had my fair share of what you call a "scene". I call it a "scene" because that's what it is.
Remember when we took your S2000 to the flats, you took it uphill and after you were done, you let out a nervous exhale. Then I took YOUR S2K downhill and owned it. I saw the look on your face. "What the F**K was that?" face. It was my first time there and I was driving YOUR car and that road better and faster than you had in your previous three tries. "You were driving as fast as me, but at higher RPMs." Ok.

Go use a toilet, you've been producing nothing but bs. This isn't an Initial D run. You say the MR2 can outhandle the S2k, then lets see it. Yeah that's right we do know each other, you've been on my case ever since I got the S, always trying to target me. Quit trying to stalk me, I wonder what made you register in the site anyways..with coincidentally registering as "onlymr2" I'm glad that you noticed a "nervous exhale" out of me. You're being played or are you not? You wanted to drive it, because such a die hard Toyota person like you wouldn't dare ride a Honda..unless you wanted to prove something against me. I was able to make you realize its strengths..maybe as well as it weaknesses. Think about it, son. Owning it on the downhill??!!. You think by just driving it downhill at a higher rpm, lower gears, and braking hard (but at the same speed as I was doing) makes you own it?!! Don't flatter yourself. The only face I was giving was the "Hell yeah, this guy is drueling over my car" look. Man, admit it. You loved every part of the S2K, and wasn't it you who said "I was thinking of how much I can trade in my car for this one"? Let me just shake my head in disgust. If you didn't notice the guard rails situated practically in every corner, the area is relatively safe. No cars, especially the black and whites, aren't present..if you did notice. I'm not being a fool if I know what I'm doing. Don't be mad because Toyota's best performance cars (the Supra and the MR2) have long been extinct.
