I don't condone street racing, but even so, pick and choose your races wisely. There are cars that will embarass the S2000 royally in a straight line, and the EVO is one of them.

Thanks S2Keiichi, I ignore comments like that anyway, too old to start schooling them on how to speak properly to others. I might have posted it in the wrong forum but for those who thinks I need driving lessons think again, when I raced BMW's and AUDI's most of you big mouth couldn't even spell it, and if you bought S2k's to drive like an old ladies or afraid to wet your panties making turns then you should probably start thinking about Buicks or some similar crap.
Which Audi's and BMWs have you raced? By race, I assume you mean that you were a driver for a race team somewhere with an actual race car.
Please provide details and pics.
I bought my S2000 to have fun with, but one of the great things about the S2K is that you don't have to be pushing it 10/10ths to have fun in it.
I also don't consider driving like a jackass on public roads to be very fun in general. I did when I was 18 though.
I have to admit though, BMW and Audi are very hard to spell. (that was sarcasm btw)

Yeah dude, I've seen too many accidents from friends and friends of friends who raced a car every chance they got. Being on a deserted straight road is okay, since any idiot can do that. Doing a curve while full throttle leads to some unexpected things some times. Not everyone knows exactly how to react when the car doesnt just turn normally.
I apologize for my comment earlier. I had no idea you used to race BMWs and Audis for racing teams before I was born. You must be pretty old. Did you hear about those grandma grandpa accidents where they were dropping off their grandchild at school and floored the car instead of braking, killing many children in it's path?

Evo is quick/fast for the money, bitch about the style, how many doors, shitty interior all you want but it's a purpose built car that do exactly what's it's promised.

I rode in an EVO for the first time last night, and the kid who was driving the car (a friend of a friend) did not impress me at all with his driving skills. He couldn't even rev match his shifts, but he was able to take very twisty roads at way higher speeds then I would ever attempt in my car. He was pushing it like a maniac in the corners, and I was shocked at how well the car handled, I could only imagine what it is capable of with a better driver behind the wheel. Long story short, I was very impressed.
