Default S2k owners help me out! damn dealer!!!!!

heres the story:
ive purchased an S2k at goodson honda here in houston. (bad mistake) but anyways. drove the car for about 2,000 miles. decided to get an oil change from Goodson honda b/c i was already there picking up my plates. did the oil change on sat morning... comes monday. im at the gas station waiting for a friend to run in and buy somethings... and all of the sudden a big cloud of white smoke over whelms me, i got out of the car and its coming out of my exhust!?!. i was like ok... wut the hell is happening. next morning took it back to Goodson Honda, about 45min drive for me. talked to the service ASSt. manager, he said theres nothing he can do now, that i have to set an apointment, and that theres no way he can look at my car now. really bad attitude also!!! after waiting for the real manager, the lube manager offer to do another oil change for me. im thinking they put too much oil in the car the first time, and now its just burning the excess oil. after the oil change cars runs fine, couple weeks later about 2 weeks, im at 2600 miles, which was this the other day, im at a drive thru and here comes the smoke again!! i called Goodson Honda today, and told them i will be bringing in the car sat. morning for them to look at it!! after all this i will never do business with Goodson HOnda again! customer service sux ass. out of all my honda buying experiece john eagle has the best customer service!

does anybody ever had this problem with thre s2k's? or know what is the cuase of the white smoke coming out of the exhust? first of i was thinking its burnt piston rings or oil had come in the combuston chambers. what is the worst that can happen to my car?! i really love driving my s2k. but i dont want to return the damn car! b/c of a stupid dealer mistake. and im kinda scared that they will take part the motor to fix it... man only 2600 miles and this is happening. i sure hope Honda can help me out!

please post you oppinion on what i should do? or what has happend to my s2k!

thanks!!!

I'd go first to check the oil level. In my experience, I get the best reading from a completely cold engine. (Check your owners manual for details). If it's low, add some yourself before driving again. If it's high, I'd drain a little out. Report the results to the dealer tomorrow, have them fix it (or whatever), document what they did, then don't do business with them again. Tell them (firmly but politely) that you cannot trust a dealer that can't do a simple oil change (twice!) without causing a problem. I'd also consider sending a letter to AHM along with the dealer's invoice expressing your displeasure and effects on your car. Never know, it may help if there's a problem down the road....

Good luck - let us know how it goes tomorrow!

Have you checked you coolant level? White smoke would indicate coolant getting into the combustion chamber. Oil burning is usually bluish/grey smoke and you can smell the oil in the exhaust. If it's water, it'll smell like steam.

And John Eagle Honda has done a great job on my car. After 7k worth of work, the car runs like new. In fact JEH is a board sponsor, and the GM is a board member (Eagle1) give them a call, and ask for Matt in service. He will take good care of your car. They handle most of the members' S, and they also do more S's then any other dealer. In fact in the dealer theard you will find Mac's (Eagle1) direct phone number.

Good luck and Welcome to the board. You will learn more about your car here the anywhere else.
