errrmmmm
I think that statement is a bit too general. It's like saying all Chinese people can't run and play basketball or something (okay, I can't be racist against Chinese, because I am Chinese myself ...)

on bmws, i see a lot of people on here hate the "i mortgaged my house to lease a 328i" crowd--the few who spend beyond their means to gratify their pride. and i don't think anybody cares about the car model--just the attitude of the individual owner.
but most people here seem to like the higher end bmws--anything that earned an M badge or the new 3.5L TT I6 is appreciated.
i must add though:
i did see what i guessed was an older (late 1990s) 325i convertible the other day that lost my respect immediately. i only passed by quickly, but i saw that the top and exterior were trashed mostly from negligence. it had an unpainted custom bumper from a wreck or something like that, but the thing that caught my attention was that the 325i badge was replaced with a "V-TEC" badge that was apparently swiped from an old honda. we don't have much of that in utah. it made me sad

No. I'm a fan of bang for the buck, and the 350Z fits the bill. It needs a few key mods IMO, but it will hang with a Cayman S at half the price. Of course you will still be driving a Nissan, but I don't really care about that kind of thing. That's why I drive a modded Honda and not a Boxster S.
