S2K owners drivin' hand greetings !!!
That's unbelievable !!!
Since I have my S2K, I meet on the street 3 different S2K's (Yes, I know, there are less S2K [150 delivered per year] in Switzerland than USA ) in my region (Geneva-Lausanne-Montreux) and all owners had send me hand greetings like bikers....
I've never seen this before !!!
Is it the same in your regions ?

It depends on who the other person is, obviously. In the US, the S2K enthusiasts wave every time and we're starting to make a "V" sign -- a la Winston Churchill -- at each other. Short for VTEC, of course.
But many people in the US seem to have bought the car for its status, or because they thought it was cute, or for some other egocentric reason. These people don't wave, or even notice that you're in another car just like theirs grinning and making a V sign at them. I've given up being offended. Hopefully these folks will tire of the S2000 quickly and sell it to somebody who really wants it.

The majority of the folks in my area wave and smile. Seems like the good weather in the Bay Area brings out some of the best in people. (some weirdos too) But generally, I've met some of the collest people in S2000's! and they all look like ===>> !!!

I drove traditional English sports cars (TR3A, AH 3000, MG TD) in the 60's and almost all of us would give another one a wave, even if it was just fuingers up off the steering wheel. That seemed to be a bit less so for other makes, but even got them from German & Italian makes reasonably often. Sports (equals imported) cars in general were fewer in those days so there was more built-in exclusivity. When the AH Sprites and MG Midgets came along, at a much lower cost, the comraderie seemed to diminish a bit.
Today, every now and again I try it from my S2k to another sports car (Z3s, Boxters, MR2s, TTs, etc., but seldom get more than a strange look from the drivers. I don't even bother with Miatas tho. The Saurkrauts (especially the 911s and the like) seem to think that it is beneath them to wave at anything from another country.
