I was driving home from a friend's house the other night and it was late, around 1:30 AM. I-77 north was desolate so I decided to test the car a little bit. I took her to 125 a couple of times, needless to say I got home very quickly. The next morning I woke up and heard on a newscast that there was a car accident on the same highway near one of the exits I passed at around 2:00 AM. A guy was coming south in the north bound lane and hit another car head on. The south bound driver was killed and the person he hit was OK but suffered some bad injuries. Had I not been going so fast, I might have had an encounter with the maniacal driver as he appeared only a few minutes after I left the highway.
