Depends on insurance company and state. I'm 20 and just got my insurance back on the 2000 S2K I bought tuesday. For full coverage on my S and 03 Accord Coupe V6 my toatl is $819 for six months. That includes generous liability and full coverage on both cars, so its not too bad for my age and the value of cars I have insurance on . BTW I have Erie insurance which has turned out to be an outstanding and affordable company to work with over the years.

I figured they would rate it like it. I have to find a damn insurance company in NJ that will take new customers, i've only tried 3 companys so far.

I'm 25, clean record, Germany, full coverage on the S2000 is around 2500 EUR/yr.

I'm going through the same dilemna as you as my rates got hiked nearly 30% for next year for "high-performance sports car" reasons. Basically the % of the car's value that I'm paying as insurance premiums is escalating at an alarming rate every year.

What's complicating matters is that the S2000 has proven to be my most reliable car. What money I'm saving on maintenance/repairs well covers the insurance surcharges.

OK, I pay $4K+ a year for my S. I am married, over 25 and have 1 point for speeding. I am paying an arm & leg for my insurance. I would really like to know who your insurance is.

It also depends on what company. I talked to one company who rated the car a hot car, and another that rated it a warm car. Compared to an accord 4cly which is considered a cold car.

Male, 26, clean record. $540 for 6 months, full coverage. It is the third car, though.

First Car: 2000 Impreza 2.5RS <-- daily driver $450 for 6 months
Second Car: 2002 RSX-S <-- wife's car $500 for 6 months
