S2K HELL!
Ok guys Im gonna try to make this short as possible.
This past autumn I got into an accident. I was hit on the front driver side and pushed towards the curb. My back rear passenger tire was damanged from the curb not to mention the front driver side where the car struck me.
Got it all fixed but noticed car didnt handle right. Eventually I noticed the rear passenger tire was wearing unevenly on the outside corner. Brought it back to the shop and asked if they did a rear alignment. They said NO!! So he did the alignment with the balding tire (i didnt want to buy a new tire cause i was gonna put snows on in a month).
Obviously having the alignment done without a new tire was foolish to do since the tire would sit improperly even though the alignment was done. Anyway, in November I brought my car to Mavis and had them put on my snow tires (from last year) and do an alignment.
Car felt new again. But a month later I notice the car handling poorly again. Sure enough uneven tire wear but this time on the INSIDE rear corner. WTF!!! I brought it back and they checked the alignment and the arm and said everything was fine. I said what about the uneven tire wear? They said it might have been that way from the previous winter. I highly doubt it cause I would of noticed it.
Now I call the original a-hole who worked on my car and asked if they made sure the frame was straight and he said of course. "Its the first thing we do otherwise none of the parts such as the hood/doors would line up correctly."
So hear I am left with a car that does not handle properly. ANY IDEA WHAT IS CAUSING THIS?? Could it have been from last year? I doubt it. The car does not pull to either side when driving BUT in the rain/snow and over bumps you can feel the back end fish tail a little. Any insight would be helpful.
In the meantime Im gonna order ANOTHER freakin snow tire for the rear and this time have my uncle check the frame.
