If you read it carefully, they are "hoping" to have "at least 475 hp" sometime in the future.

Anyone can make a project car, but to make one that works, well, that's a different story. It never ceases to amaze me how people lower compression in order to tune a car.

It's just an easy way out. The real trick is to do bolt on stuff that increases the hp. Anyone can drop the compression really low, boost the hell out of the engine and get some horsepower, and that is what these "tuners" are doing.

I apologise for the pessimism. But it is always funny to see how some little shop that deals in turbos has more engineering insight than Honda has. Hmmmm, fascinating.

I'd like to see the complete project when it is finished and testd. Perhaps this can give some of us ideas on what path to take when thinking of upgrades.

My $.02 I bought the mag for the train ride home a week or so ago. I was pretty much left with the impression that the promised 475hp was the car equivilant of vapor-ware.

I'll believe it when it's live.

Is that an aftermarket carbon fiber hood she's sitting her lovely tush on? I'm afraid the aluminum one would be dented to no end.

Very nice on the eyes. I shudder every time I see someone sitting on the hood (or roof well) of an S2000 though. When they started the Indy here last Sunday they did a lap with the each driver sitting on the glovebox (and in some cases back on the folded roof).

Do they have a graveyard for S2000 parts that are f.....d up due to photo shoots?
