I've only owned mine for 5 days, so I can't even consider driving my civic right now.
All I want to do is live in my s2000. Although, I have to exit the vehicle for restroom breaks and also for meals because I don't want to drop food all over in it like in my civic. Aside from that, I plan on spending the next several months either driving it or relaxing in it while parked in my driveway! Can't seem to go inside my house right now, ya know?

Mine is a sunny day (or nice night), put the top down and drive car!
I don't think I have driven it more than 3 times with the top up. I have other things to drive/ride so just take the S when I can enjoy it.
I think the car would hold up well to daily driving, and if I could I would drive mine more often.

SoNgDooWeeCH,
I daily drive my '02 S2000 about 100 miles a day, and it works out just fine.
IMO, whether you'll be okay with it or not depends on what kind of cars you're used to driving. If you're accustomed to luxury cars, then you probably won't like daily driving the S2000. It's a lot stiffer and noisier. If you're used to driving sports cars, then you shouldn't have a problem with it. This car isn't very different from most other sports cars - the main difference is that it's relatively noisy due to the convertible top.
Anyway, the only concern I would have, based on your geography, is the winter season. I have driven my S2000 once or twice through the Sierras during winter, but the road conditions were pretty decent, so I don't know how the S2000 holds up in a real winter. I do drive it through pouring rain on the stock S-02 tires, and it does fine.
As for how well it holds up, well, I have about 40k on my '02, and it holds up as well as any other car does. I don't feel that it holds up any better or any worse relative to other cars. Any car is going to age with time and mileage, so your car certainly won't stay pristine forever, but hey, that's not what you bought it for.

Sunny (at least now it is) Southern California has got me driving this baby EVERYday. Hardly rains now a days (thank you El Nino) so I get to ride with the top down 99% of the time. I also have a van to haul stuff as necessary, but if a box will fit in the passenger seat , it does!!
