non s2k related but i spoke to a 240 guy at an alignment day and he mentioned that someone put a Q45 engine into a 240. he said it totally messed up balance of his car that it was unsafe.

It would most likley mess up the weight distribution due to the fact that it would be hard to squeez a small block behind the front axel center line. Also you would be going from an alloy engine to a steel engine which means loading the front end with massive weight issues. The engine bay is plently big enough, if a Cobra can fit a 427 I'm sure the S would fit a 350. The question is why would you want anything else in the S except for the engineering marvel that Honda put in it. Hey what other car can you pick up for less than 30k that won't hit the rev limiter until 9k, or is as balanced as the S.

LS1 on an S2000 ok, its possible cuz nothing is impossible with the skills and time but pointless...... Yes very pointless. Please just go buy yourself a Corvette. The S2000 should not have the heart of an American muscle car, its to refined for that crap!
