S2K does not break loose going into 2nd?

honestly if you hift quickly enough the delay valve desn't effect the tires breaking loose, I've even chirped going into hird when I had the delay valve. Although like you I could not get this to happen when I first bought the car. I think it's the process of leting the car break in for some time, and really learning how the S gearbox works. Ofcourse since I swapped ou o the 03 slave, I have chirped through 2nd, 3rd, and on some ocassion hv chirped going ino 4th.

I'm sorry for coming off the wrong way, but when a former Civic driver wonders why he can't break the S2K loose and then ponders bringing it in to the dealership service dept, the credibility meter bottoms out. This is exactly the kind of poster who will be writing back in a couple months after he totalled the car driving fast on a rainy day and then wonders what went wrong.
Look at the rear tires, they are steam rollers for such a small car, which means there is a heck of a lot of traction back there (wider rear tires are one way to mitigate RWD tendencies). Also, the car has a 49F/51R weight distribution which places a lot more weight on the rear wheels than a typical RWD car. On acceleration, the normal force transferred to the rear wheels may even be more than on a FWD Civic, when you scale the weight. Fact is, it's super easy to chirp/squeal on a FWD car with skinny tires, I know I see ricers doing it all the time. It's not something I find very amusing or impressive. In fact, I am glad I outgrew it in high school 20 years ago!

Here is the link.......just mod the stock valve, dont waist your time in a 03 valve and cutting.
This will look stock and not have any probs if you do it correctly
