S2K does not break loose going into 2nd?
Hey guys I'm a new S2K owner and I opened it up for the first time this week and the car doesn't seem to break loose from 1st into 2nd going in a straight line. This is the first time I've driven an S2K so I don't know how it should drive. My S is a brand new '05 and what I mean by "break loose" is that I don't even hear the tires chirp, the rear end feels like it comes loose (can feel it drift a little). So I don't know if it's just the tires or a clutch problem and if I should take it back to the dealer to get it checked out?

There is nothing wrong with the car.
Try to power shift through 2nd on a hot and humid day. Make sure to lose several pounds of air in your rear tires.
You should be able to "chirp" rear tires.
That being said......
It is fair for me to assume that you know nothing about this car. Do me a favor. Please take it easy. Especially now until this winter is over. Make sure to attend auto x events and participate. Better yet, spend your money on driving education classes and do some HPDEs.

Thanks for the insight, I hope people in this forum do not assume that I'm some kid that has just picked up this car in hopes that it will be that fastes thing on the road. I've been in the car scean for some time and had wanted this car back when Honda introduced it to the public. I do plan attend some auto x events next season and will not be driving the car during the winter. Yes I had opened my car up on the street but not when there are other cars around (I am not careless). I'm sure everyone here in this forums has done what I've done when they had gotten their car and am pretty sure they were also responsible in doing so as well.

Thak you all for your insights, the only way I'll learn more about the this car we all love is by asking...correct me if I'm wrong.

With the delay valve in the clutch slave cylinder, it will be hard to break the tires loose on the AP2.
