Is the S2K discontinued?
#1
Checking the prices for the S2K through "Yahoo! Autos", I got the following response from the "Get a Price" web page:
Sold Out
This vehicle is out of production, and no longer available. If you are interested, please email us at advisor@carsdirect.com and we will contact you if one of these becomes available.
Really?.......That's it?......No more for sale?
YIPPEE .......Anyone want to buy my nicely-kept MY2000 for, say, $45,000?

I'm sure Yahoo Autos just heard about the discontinuation rumor and ran out of 2001 models they are allocated and won't know until everyone else does if they are making 2002 models. I wouldn't rely on Yahoo for that type of information. I would think that Honda would tell their dealers about it before they would tell Yahoo about it.

I wouldn't count on it. I had an Integra Type R which was also rumored to have a "limited" production run of 500 / year for two years. I think they did double that number in '98 and they're still selling them.
From the unofficial sales figures, it also looks like Honda is already at around 11k sales? And it's not even close to the end of this model year.
