Hi, I'm currently looking for a used s2000 and would like to know which years should I be looking for? (ex: 2001 and up) And why?. I'd also like to have a White with Red interiors, which years were those made from? Thanks in advanced!

 

I'm not sure about the color combo, but generally the younger they are, the better. MY2000 doesn't have a clock, 2000+2001 don't have spiffer side tweeters, etc. etc.

 

try go get a 2002-2003, most of the problems are fixed from the previous years.

from 00-02, the white came with red interior but there was a difference

-00 and 01, partial red(1/2 black, 1/2 red) only the seats are red and some other little things
-02, full red, i mean everything is red, the dash, seats, carpet, roll bar, etc

03+ has tan interior, but you don't want tan so don't get the '03.

 

Go for NEW , you can probably get pimp financing like i got!

yeah i got lucky msyelf. having good credit got me 2.99% apr during the week of memorial day.

 

My budget is about 27k so I can't get a brand new. I'm going to supercharge it and I wont feel right supercharging a brand new car. So I guess a 2002 would be the best way for me to go.. Thanks!

 

yea get an 02, you get a glass rear window and some under powered tweets and a leather wrapped shiftknob, some cool metal head rest things, and.... ahhhhh different sway bars, and.......new radio deck.... leather console and@@@###! a dead pedal

 

Get an 02 or above because you then get the glass rear window and you get door mounted speakers.

 

The 02 seems to have an unexplained HP increase over previous years S2000. In addition, the oil jet bolts were improved around mid-year.
